The Power of Information Gathering and IDing Voters

Join us on Tuesday, June 22nd from 3:00-4:30 PM EST for part one of our three-part Power Building + Organizing webinar series.

It’s no secret that much of our work is driven by grassroots organizing. Our work is only successful when our communities come together and push for change. That was clear in 2020. Faced with a global pandemic, your organization stepped up to the challenge, adapted to new organizing tactics and turned out our communities by the masses.

Our power comes through movements led directly by you, our communities. This three-part webinar series will focus on the tactics and strategies around power building as we gear up for 2022 and use our people power to create transformative change.

Part one of our webinar series will focus on the power of IDing and gathering information from voters and running an effective voter ID program.

As a trusted source for our communities, it’s important to make sure that we are able to identify and organize around issues that most concern our people. One of the most prominent ways we can better understand where our community stands is by IDing voters.

Voter ID programs not only help us understand where our communities align, but how it can help us enhance data. Off-year elections are an optimal time to run an ID program as a way to keep voters engaged and up to date on issues.

This webinar will offer a discussion-based conversation with three Senior Organizers who have executed their own voter/issue ID program. These Senior Organizers will walk attendees through key elements of launching your own program while discussing the successes and challenges of their own efforts.
