Voter’s Edge is a nonpartisan guide to federal, state, and local candidates and ballot measures in California, Illinois, New York, and possibly other states to come. During the 2016 election cycle, we empowered over 1.9 million people to cast more informed votes. An online survey of site users shows that they found the site to be valuable, with 89% rating the site “very” or “extremely” useful. Voter’s Edge also increased respondents’ likelihood of voting in more races, with 74% reporting that they would vote for more offices and leave fewer choices blank.
During the 2016 election cycle, we partnered with media and community groups to provide their audiences and members with important voter information via co-branded subdomains and embeddable widgets. Our partners from the 2016 election included NBC Bay Area, Los Angeles, San Diego, and Chicago; Telemundo Bay Area, Los Angeles, and Chicago; the Chicago Sun-Times; ABC 7 Bay Area, Chicago, and New York; NYPIRG; and the NYC Campaign Finance Board.
This webinar will discuss ways that organizations working to increase civic engagement in their communities can partner with Voter’s Edge in 2018 to provide critical tools and services to their constituencies.
